Crivvens! Jings! And Help Ma Boab! Well, it looks like the Free Tommy Robinson demo at the weekend will now be remembered for the drunken brawling with cops and acts of brave stupidity like hijacking a tourist bus and terrifying visitors. Since then, the majority of media commentators, on and offline, have been involved in a collective head scratch, muttering ‘but he pleaded guilty!’ However, we must not let facts get in the way of mass stupidity: Mr Steven Thompson Yaxley-Trousers chose to plead guilty but his supporters don’t believe him.
The mix of fervent racism, lukewarm lager, and sunshine proved too much for some who just had to fire out the Nazi salutes despite Mr Yaxley-Trousers claims that he is ‘not far right.’ Sadly, as an ex-member of far right groups such as the BNP, EDL, British Freedom, and UK Pegida his protestations are unconvincing. He’d also been diddling about with the far right Ann Marie Morrissey of For Britain (soon to be known as ‘For Gotten’) and hovering dangerously close to the far right Football Lads Alliance. And there were plenty of far right faces at the demo alongside fuck-sputtucks and pissed up cro-magnon shagspots like Old Fatty Bawbag here.
Fatty Bawbag; He Owns The Pies!
Plod has now gone through all that lovely incriminating CCTV footage, cross referencing with various databases, to identify those who attacked the Met officers and arrest numbers will gradually increase. The rioters having strong drink (and bad gak) taken, did nothing to cover their faces during the ruckus so will be easy to nick, as happened on other violent fascist days out. Anyway, FYI on future demos chaps:
To be fair, most of the demonstrators were more interested in waving their phones around and taking selfies as it kicked off behind them rather than joining in with the brouhaha. There has been the predictable fallouts over what went wrong and even wankers like UKIP leader Gerald Batten have had to distance themselves from the violence. The main problem for the demo organisers on Saturday was that there were very few stewards, if any, to move people on, disperse them from possible confrontations, or coordinate the large groups who spread out over the area.
Law-Abiding Citizen or Jelly-Soft Arse Whinger?
As far as plod are concerned, they totally misjudged the event: there were not enough cops on the street; they were outnumbered and scattered by a violent faction; and they vastly under-estimated attendance. For rioters to kick off in Central London on a Saturday afternoon, attacking plod and scattering them, all of which got massive media coverage, is extremely embarrassing and if there is a rematch between the Free Tommy campaign and the Met, it’s unlikely to be pleasant.
